Free Online Sessions for Parents/Guardians on Navigating the Digital World 

Establishing Safe, Caring, and Respectful Digital Communities

The International Center for Digital Threat Assessment (ICDTA), an extension of Safer Schools Together, is offering “Establishing Safe, Caring, and Respectful Digital Communities” online sessions, sponsored by ERASE (Expect Respect and a Safe Education). These sessions aim to support families and caregivers in navigating the digital world. 

Who should attend? 

Recommended for parents, caregivers, grandparents, and youth aged 10 and up, these 60-minute sessions provide a foundation for fostering safe and responsible technology use at home and in the community.  

What will the session cover? 

Session will cover all things digital, including:  

  • How to be a good digital citizen 
  • The criminal consequences of cyberbullying 
  • How to report and receive support in cases of sexting/sextortion 
  • Concerns surrounding use of social media platforms and smartphones 
  • Artificial intelligence 

The first session will be hosted this Thursday, November 28th at 6:30pm PST.
