That’s a wrap on qathet School District’s holiday concerts!
This season, the walls of our elementary schools were filled with festive spirit and joy as students from grades K-7 showcased their musical talents. From singing and playing classic carols on a variety of different instruments to sharing original songs composed in their classrooms, these performances have been nothing short of magical! There were primary and intermediate choirs, rock bands, and concert bands with student-soloists as well as duets. Some of the songs were even performed in French and ʔayʔaǰuθəm, and included holiday favourites such as Jingle Bells, Santa Clause is Coming to Town, Frosty the Snowman, and the 12 Days of Christmas.✨
