LEARNING & SUPPORTS
At Westview Elementary, we believe that every child can learn, grow, and succeed when they feel a sense of belonging, receive high-quality instruction, and have access to the supports they need.
Learning is at the heart of everything we do. Our staff work together to create engaging learning experiences that build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy while helping students develop creativity, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
We recognize that students learn in different ways and at different rates. For some students, additional supports may be required to help them access learning, develop skills, or navigate social, emotional, behavioural, or communication challenges. Our goal is always to provide the right support at the right time while helping students remain connected to their classroom community.
Through collaboration among classroom teachers, support staff, families, and district specialists, we work to ensure that every student feels known, valued, and capable of success.
