Services for Students with Cochlear Implants:
In addition to equipment loans and services, we offer audiology, speech language pathology, and teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing expertise and outreach in support for students with cochlear implants and their school teams. Services include the development of local capacity, through consultation with school staff and parents, assistance with assessments, and assistance with the establishment of goals for individual education plans. Our team uses evidence based practice, current research and clinical knowledge of the unique skills and needs of student with cochlear implants to support students and their teams.
