Brooks Environmental Club Hosts Clothing Swap
The Environmental Club, in collaboration with several other clubs and classes, hosted its first ever school-wide clothing swap at Brooks Secondary today!
The goal was to promote sustainability and discourage fast fashion, as well as create an opportunity for students to get new clothing this holiday season. Donations were collected from November 27th to December 11th, with student volunteers from various clubs dedicating their time after school to sort the clothes in preparation for the big event.
This awesome initiative gave every student the chance to participate with their class, each having the opportunity to select an item. All the remaining pieces of clothing will be donated to local charities!š§£
