Proposed 2028-2029 School Calendar Available for Public Review

The qathet School District Board of Education is seeking feedback on the proposed Local School Calendar for the 2028-2029 school year.

Under the School Act, boards of education are required to make proposed school calendars publicly available and provide an opportunity for public input before final approval and submission to the Ministry of Education and Child Care.

The proposed calendar includes instructional days, vacation periods, statutory holidays, and professional development days for the 2028-2029 school year.

Community members, families, students, and staff are invited to review the proposed calendar and share any feedback or considerations with the district.

The Board of Education will consider feedback received prior to final approval of the calendar at the June Board Meeting.
