Career: Secondary
Students in Grades 8-12 have many opportunities to engage in career education and career planning.
These may include:
- Special presentations throughout the year to explore career pathways and work opportunities
- Post-secondary presentations and events
- Post-secondary tours on Vancouver Island and the mainland
- Job fairs within the community
- Interactive community-related activities both on and off campus
- Work experience and apprenticeship opportunities
- Hands-on learning activities to engage students in ADST
- Clubs and fairs to get students interacting with each other, the community, and new learning tools and devices
- Support with post-secondary searching, planning and applying
